Today we hit the Splash Playground at the South Germantown Recreational Park. Tyler started out a little hesitant, fully clad in swimsuit, swim shirt, and sandals.

He wasn't sure about the random water squirting out of holes in the ground at completely random moments and unpredictable heights.

Once Lexi decided the water was ok, Tyler was totally cool with it.

The playground quickly got crowded with all the daycares and preschools that decided today was the day to visit the park.

About halfway through playing, Melissa had the brilliant idea to order pizza (the large signs advertising the Splash Park special did NOT influence us at all you should know).

After lunch Tyler was ready to go back into the water without shirt or shoes and really give it a go. Here is his "I'm ready" smile. Or maybe it's his "stop taking pictures of me, mom" smile.

No no...... THANK YOU FOR COMING! It would have been SUCH a waste of MONEy if you guys hadnt come with us!!! Im glad you guys had fun and Tyler was SO brave standing so close to the water buckets!!! Hes such an AWESOME little guy!!
I am SO jealous! That place looks awesome!
Wow! I feel terrible that I never found this place while we lived in the area.
The splash park is so much fun for the kids at this age. We went last week and it was so much easier to keep track of them.
Tyler and Lexi are the two PERFECT candidates for going to the splash park. Melissa kept telling me I needed to take Madi, but I'm not quite sure how fun it'd be for either of us. :) I love how much Tyler likes the water. My goal is to get Madi to love it so that we can go next summer!! Glad you guys had so much fun!!
