My Baby is a Busy Busy Big Boy

B is the best! It's better than the rest!
Last week was B week. It was MUCH better than A week, since so many more things start with B. We were very busy doing buttloads of B crafts, activities, and eating B snacks.
We had blueberries and blackberries...
Made blueberry pancakes...
Rode bikes...
Played with bubbles...
Found burnt bagels...
Had bananas and bologna...
Made a B collage...
Played baseball...
Made bird feeders out of pinecones and peanut butter...
Went birdwatching...
Found some bumblebees...
Colored a B book...
Made banana berry smoothies...
Made homemade butter... And bread...

It was a bodacious B week, not to be beat!

Did you do bread in a bag? Did you use whipping cream to make butter? I think when we did this at preschool the kids had a blast! I hope you have lots of fun with the letter C!

Anie - I found a B book online but they wouldn't let me print it without paying money and joining, so I just made my own. I will send it to you if you want.

Lis - All you do is get some whipping cream and add a little bit of butter and SHAKE it until your arms want to fall off...then shake it some more.

*I mean add a little bit of salt, not butter...

Love it, love it, love it. I might borrow some of your ideas when we start our alphabets....you are so creative!

Candis- YES!!! Please send me the sheets you make up for your A, B, C.... etc books!! Maybe I can start at the end of the alphabet and come up with some ideas! :) I wasn't planning on going in order with the letters though. But I do still have like 2 months until I wanted to start "school" with Madi. I LOVE all your ideas! And Tyler seems to LOVE it too! Oh ya, and when I was teaching 4th grade in UT, we made butter as we walked like the pioneers (4th grade is State history- so I got to teach about Joseph Smith, Brigham Young, the pioneers, etc. HOw cool is that?!). Anyway, that butter was SO DELICIOUS!! I'll definitely have to try it with Madi :)
